On November 25, 2023 at 5:00 pm, Friends of Rwanda e.V. cordially invites you to a special evening at the Old Schoolhouse in Bad Boll. There you will have the opportunity to get to know four committed young people from Rwanda and their partner organizations in person.

Since October this year, four volunteers from the region around the town of Gisenyi in north-western Rwanda have been doing voluntary service in the weltwärts South-North program. This is being done in cooperation with Friends of Rwanda, the Liebenau Foundation in Ravensburg and the Karl Schubert Community in Aichtal. At the same time, six other young people from the East African country are being trained in Germany on the initiative of Friends of Rwanda, two in a catering business in Rhineland-Palatinate and four in the care sector at the Liebenau Foundation in Friedrichshafen.

These talented young people were selected in close cooperation between Friends of Rwanda and the partner organizations in Rwanda, including the Rubavu Technical Centre, the Unity Circus and Love and Care Jyambere Mwana.

During a seminar weekend, which will take place in Bad Boll from 24 to 26 November 2023, these young people would like to introduce the Rwandan partner organizations to the public and seek dialogue with the Bad Boll community.

On this occasion, Friends of Rwanda invites you to an informative lecture evening followed by an African party on November 25 in the Bürgertreff in the basement of the old school building. Here you will have the opportunity to learn more about the work of Friends of Rwanda and the local partner organizations and to talk to the participants in an informal atmosphere.

We look forward to your interest and participation in this special evening!
